Encrypt and Decrypt Secret Text: AES, RSA, Caesar, Base64 and More in One Page

Choose encrypt or decrypt, type your text and pick a method. The result updates as you type. To nest several methods press "Add layer"; when decrypting the order is reversed for you.

Security: AES-256-GCM and RSA are real standards and run entirely on your device, but the strength depends on your password. Use a long one that is hard to guess, and note that a forgotten password cannot be recovered. Classic ciphers and Base64 are only for play or light obscuring; anyone can undo them, so never use them to protect real data.

Classic ciphers work on the letters A-Z only; other characters (such as Thai) pass through unchanged. Morse and Playfair drop letter case and spaces.

FAQ

Does it cover every encryption in the world?

No tool can. This one covers what people actually use: modern encryption (AES-256-GCM, RSA-OAEP), 21 classic ciphers (one for Thai), 9 symbol codes (Morse, Braille, NATO and more), 7 text styles, 16 encodings and 8 hashes, over 60 methods in all, and they stack in layers, which gives you endless combinations.

How safe is it? Is my text sent anywhere?

Everything is computed in your browser; neither the text nor the password leaves your device. AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 at 600,000 rounds is a standard in real use. The rest of the strength depends on how long and unpredictable your password is.

Can a forgotten password be recovered?

No, and nobody can, including us, because the password never leaves your device.

AES or RSA?

If the person who encrypts and the person who decrypts can share a password, use AES. If anyone should be able to send you a secret without a shared password, use RSA: share the public key, keep the private key to yourself.

Are the classic ciphers secure?

No. A program breaks Caesar or Vigenère in a fraction of a second. Use them for games and puzzles only.
