Word Counter and Character Counter for Thai and English, with Reading Time and Top Words

Paste or type your text and the numbers update at once. Thai has no spaces between words, so the browser's own word splitter is used instead of splitting on spaces.

Case Converter: UPPER, lower, Title Case, camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case

Type or paste text and every style appears at once. Tap the one you want to copy it. Thai has no upper or lower case, so it is left unchanged.

Text Cleaner: Remove Duplicate Lines, Sort Lines, Extra Spaces and Invisible Characters

Paste text and tick what you need. The result updates at once. Steps always run in the same order: strip characters, split, trim, drop blanks, drop duplicates, sort, add prefix/suffix, number, join.

Text Compare: Find the Difference Between Two Texts by Line, Word or Character

Paste the original on the left and the new text on the right. Differences appear at once: green is added, red is removed, and each line also carries a + or − so colour is not the only cue.

FAQ

How are Thai words counted?

With Intl.Segmenter, the dictionary-based word splitter built into browsers. It is more accurate than counting spaces, but names and new words may be split differently from what a reader expects.

What is the difference between characters and visible characters?

Thai vowels and tone marks sit on top of consonants and are separate characters in the text but look like one. The tool shows both; most platform limits count the first kind.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser.

What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?

camelCase starts with a lowercase letter (myVariableName); PascalCase starts with an uppercase one (MyVariableName).

Which words does Title Case leave small?

Short English connecting words such as a, the, of and in stay lowercase, except at the start.

What are zero-width characters and why remove them?

They are characters you cannot see that hide inside text, often picked up when copying from the web or chat apps. They break comparing, searching and code that reads the text.

Can it sort Thai?

Yes, in the browser's Thai dictionary order, from ก to ฮ.

Will removing punctuation break Thai words?

No. The repetition mark (ๆ) and the abbreviation mark (ฯ) are kept because they are part of Thai words.

Can it compare Thai text?

Yes. Line mode compares whole lines. Word mode splits on Thai letters and spaces; Thai has no spaces, so word mode can group long runs. Use character mode for fine detail.

Which algorithm is used?

Myers diff, the one git uses, which finds the shortest set of changes.
