A Fair Random Name Picker: Wheel, Team Splitter, Dice and Coin Flip

Drawing lots for who does a chore or splitting teams for a game must feel fair to everyone, so the method has to be explainable.

The result is chosen first, the wheel follows

The winner is chosen first with the system random generator, and the wheel is then turned to land on that person, so the spin speed has no effect on fairness. With reduced-motion settings the result appears at once.

What it can do

• Type one name per line (commas work too) and spin.
• Shuffle, and pick several without repeats.
• Split into teams of near-equal size.
• Roll dice such as 2d6+3, flip a coin and draw a number in a range.
